Activities for Children at Harrington

For babies and children up to school age (accompanied by an adult) in St Mary’s church hall, Rectory Close, Harrington.

Every Monday during term time from 10am until 11.30am

Donations welcome (suggested minimum £2)

Toast and juice provided for children, with tea and coffee for carers.

 Pre-school toddlers and their carers are invited to a time of songs, stories, prayers and play, not forgetting, of course, the all-important snacks, tea and chat! We meet at 10.30am on Thursday mornings during term time in the church hall at St Mary’s on the Hill, Harrington until about 11.30am. Coffee and tea available from 10.15am. There is no charge, although donations for refreshments are welcome.

Messy Church is held on the third Saturday of every month in St Mary’s Church Hall in Rectory Close from 4pm to 6pm, during term time.

Messy Church is for all the family and includes a number of craft activities, songs, a story and some prayers all based on the theme for the day.  We then finish with a shared meal together.

Come and join us – and bring your friends.

There is no Messy Mary’s in December as everyone is invited to the Christingle and Nativity Service at 3pm on Christmas Eve in Harrington church

Come and join our St Mary’s family services at 10.30am on the second Sunday of each month. The services are either a parade service in church with the Explorers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, or they are more relaxed café style services in the church hall. There is something for everyone, and everyone is welcome. The services for 2026 are as follows:

• 11^th January – café service in the hall
• 8^th February – café service in the hall
• 15^th March – Mothering Sunday parade service in church (note this is a third Sunday)
• 12^th April – café service in the hall
• 10^th May – parade service in the church
• 14^th June – café service in the hall
• 12^th July – parade service in the church
• 9^th August – café service in the hall
• 13^th September – café service in the hall
• 11^th October – Harvest parade service in church
• 8^th November – Remembrance Sunday parade service in church
• 13^th December – awards parade service in church
